### Cybersecurity Consultant

Australia · Full-time · Hybrid

**Australian citizenship required.**

Work across security architecture and engineering, CyberOps, technical testing and assurance, and governance, risk and compliance to help clients improve their security controls and deliver practical outcomes.

Role details and requirements: Cybersecurity Consultant

#### The role

SALTT Tech is a wholly Australian-owned and operated cybersecurity specialist dedicated to defending the digital future. Join an onshore team of vetted, industry-recognised experts focused on modern security controls and practical client outcomes.

Report directly to the CTO and work in a hybrid environment across home, SALTT locations and client sites in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. You’ll work across varied client environments, modern cloud and application stacks, and a broad portfolio of cybersecurity engagements.

#### The work you’ll be involved in

- Security Architecture & Engineering: zero trust, IAM, application security, and internet, email and endpoint security.
- CyberOps: ongoing operational security.
- Technical Testing & Assurance: web, application, API and mobile testing, and vulnerability assessments.
- Governance, Risk & Compliance: Essential Eight, incident response planning, third-party risk, tabletop exercises and awareness programs.

#### What you’ll do

- Act as a trusted security advisor to CISOs, technology leaders and delivery teams.
- Lead and contribute to cybersecurity engagements from scoping through delivery.
- Review architecture and designs, identify risks and provide actionable recommendations.
- Help clients uplift controls across cloud, identity, applications, endpoints, internet and email.
- Produce high-quality deliverables, present outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders and technical teams, and support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to thought leadership and represent SALTT at industry events where appropriate.

#### What you’ll bring

You can speak the language of both engineers and security stakeholders and are comfortable working hands-on. We’re looking for strong experience in some of the following areas:

- Cloud security and architecture across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
- Application security and modern web and API security concepts.
- IAM and identity protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OIDC and MFA.
- Networking fundamentals, including DNS, SSL/TLS and TCP/IP.
- The ability to test, debug and investigate.
- Scripting or development experience; Python and/or JavaScript/Node.js are ideal.

### Cybersecurity Client Executive

Australia · Full-time · Hybrid

**Australian citizenship required.**

Manage our day-to-day commercial relationships with clients, combining account management, sales, renewals and partner engagement to connect organisations with the cybersecurity services they need.

Role details and requirements: Cybersecurity Client Executive

#### The role

Known internally as a Client Executive, this role reports directly to the Managing Partner. Work primarily from Sydney in a hybrid environment across home and client sites, with occasional interstate travel.

Help SALTT defend the digital future and create safer digital societies for Australians. Our values are Secure, Adaptable, Leadership, Trusted and Teamwork.

#### What you’ll do

- Act as the primary regular contact for clients and understand their needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to present solutions and ensure renewals are quoted accurately and on time.
- Work with partners on upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate with the SALTT team to present solutions.
- Prepare quotes and customer proposals, and keep accurate records in the company CRM.
- Build knowledge of cybersecurity trends, requirements and solutions, including the Essential Eight, ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.

#### What you’ll bring

- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with clients face-to-face and through collaboration tools.
- Comfort with financial details and pricing when preparing quotes and proposals.
- A passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to continuous learning.
- The ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel within Sydney and, when needed, interstate to meet clients, partners and team members.
